As two women’s health GPs who know firsthand the challenges of finding quality care for the perimenopause and menopause, we have created a service tailored specifically to the needs of women during this stage of life.

Meet Our Team

Are you struggling to get the menopause care you need?

A woman with curly brown hair looking at the camera, wearing a dark purple blouse, standing indoors with a blurred neutral background.

You’re not alone. Many women face dismissal of their symptoms or receive outdated advice, leaving them feeling frustrated and unsupported in their healthcare journey.

At Menopause GP, we understand because we’ve been there. As experienced clinicians with personal experience navigating perimenopause, we’ve created a service dedicated to providing the expert, comprehensive care that women need during this transition.

Our telehealth (phone or video) consultations make specialised menopause care accessible to women across Australia, with clear pricing, no hidden fees, and no complicated subscriptions. Just straightforward, expert care when you need it.

We ensure you have the time and support to fully address your concerns.

Menopause
Focused

Perimenopause and menopause are what we do! By focusing solely on the menopause transition, we have a more in-depth understanding of the topic and can provide detailed, comprehensive care that goes beyond what a standard doctor’s appointment can offer.

Expert
Knowledge

Our consultations are grounded in the latest global research on perimenopause and menopause. From Menopause Hormone Therapy (HRT) to other treatment and lifestyle options, we ensure our advice is always evidence-based and current.

GP-owned

and Run

We are not a large corporation or a pharmaceutical company. We are two GPs who genuinely care about doing menopause care better. Know the cost up front, book an appointment and get the treatment you need - no hidden fees or subscriptions.

Convenient and
Efficient

We know that you’re busy, so we aim to get you started on effective treatment from the first visit. We do a pre-consultation assessment form online followed by a 45-minute consultation, instead of the typical 15 minutes, to ensure you don’t feel rushed and have enough time to fully address all your concerns.

Shared
Decision-Making

We won’t tell you what you should and should not do. We will provide you with clear, honest and evidence-based information about perimenopause and menopause, so that you can make the fully informed decisions that are right for you.

Personalised

Care

Personalised, holistic care that acknowledges every women’s unique experience is our foundation as GPs. We use a bio-psychosocial lens when assessing problems and keep all the options on the table - hormonal, nutritional, lifestyle, psychological, natural. Your menopause, your way.

COMPREHENSIVE CARE, TAILORED FOR YOU

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you have a concession or health care card, we will take the deposit you pay when making an appointment ($160 for an Initial Consultation and $92.50 for a Follow-up Consultation) as full payment for the consultation. This means that there is a gap payment of $37.85 for an Initial Consultation and $9.60 for a Follow-Up Consultation. If you are unable to pay the deposit at the time of booking, or if you do not have a concession card but have other financial hardship, please contact us and we will try and accommodate you.

  • We’d like to! Please contact us and let us know about your situation and we’ll try and accommodate you.

  • No, you do not need a referral to see a Menopause GP. If your regular GP (or other health care professional) would like to provide a letter, they can email it to us directly (hello@menopausegp.com.au), or you can upload it when completing the online Pre-Consultation Assessment. We highly value working collaboratively with your other healthcare professionals.

  • Yes! After an Initial or Follow-up Consultation, we will email you a Consultation Summary that you can share with your GP or any other member of your healthcare team. We highly value working collaboratively with your other healthcare professionals.

  • We have plans to open a ‘bricks and mortar’ clinic in Sydney, but currently we are only seeing patients via telehealth.

  • We hope so! If this medicine is safe for you to take and will be effective in managing your issue, then we hope you can start taking it as quickly as possible. The best way to ensure that we can do this, is to complete the Pre-consultation Assessment as well as you can, including a recent blood pressure check and a breast cancer screening test (mammogram +/- ultrasound) in the past 1-2 years.

  • Yes! If you already have a trusted GP who is menopause-informed and able to provide the perimenopause and menopause care that you need, then please continue to see them. We strongly believe in the value of having a regular GP who can manage most, if not all of your healthcare needs and hope that for more women one day this will also include menopause.

  • You can choose between phone or video consultations. After booking, you'll receive an online Pre-Consultation Assessment form to complete. For video consultations, you can join through the waiting room on our website, or by following the link in your confirmation email. For phone consultations, we'll call you at the appointed time.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot offer same-day prescriptions. For current patients, prescriptions are typically processed within 2-3 working days.

  • Follow-up consultations are typically recommended at 6-12 weeks after your Initial Consultation, with annual reviews recommended for ongoing care.
